Dividend adjustment table

On the table presented below, you may find the register fixing date for shareholders, and the goal of process is dividend charge.  Contract for difference (CFD) in terms of stocks differ from common stocks in the way that traders get/lose dividend adjustment instead of real dividends.   Charge date differs as well:  "dividend adjustment" charged/held off at the dividend fixing date.

The amount of the dividend adjustment is proportionate to the profit amount and is charged for each position when the CFD stocks are purchased or retained when CFD stocks are being sold.

For example: a quarter dividend for contract #VZ per third quarter 2007 equals 0.43 dollars per stock.  The registered date for establishing this for per the third quarter in 2007 was October 5.

Each #VZ symbol represents a purchase transaction lot, which appeared as "open" once trading ended, 43 dollars (or cents for cent account types) were charged on October 4.

For each #VZ symbol purchase transaction lot, which appeared open once trading was over, 43 dollars (or cents for cent account types) were retained on October 4.
