London Block Exchange company launches the first cryptocurrency Visa debit card, the Dragoncard. It will allow British people to buy and keep such cryptocurrencies as bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, litecoin and monero and spend it across the UK.
card owners will also be able to withdraw cash in ATMs using the card. Customers will be charged a 0.5% fee for that, as well as for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. the Dragoncard has an up-front fee of £20.
For Dragoncard users a mobile application is developed to buy, sell and control digital currencies. Cryptocurrencies will be converted to sterling at the time of withdrawal.
London Block Exchange has so far raised £2 million from private investors who the company refused to name.
