Some PayPal users’ accounts have been frozen for 180 days. The users lost access to their money because of using accounts for cryptocurrency trading, including bitcoin.
According to PayPal rules, the users that conduct cryptocurrency-related transactions are considered to be “cryptocurrency exchange service providers”. This is prohibited in case such actions have not been agreed with the company before. All frozen accounts belong to the users that have not sent necessary requests to PayPal.
Besides, PayPay has the right to freeze or close down any accounts at their own discretion.
