The users of the mining marketplace NiceHash got hacked and all their bitcoins were transferred to hackers' accounts. The incident was reported by a user redrumloa on Reddit.

The marketplace's site was first closed down under the pretext of technical maintenance, with NiceHash's official statement released later. The service has confirmed the theft of users' bitcoins, having acknowledged weak spots in their security system, which have been detected and used by the hackers.  Also, the statement says that users' losses are being calculated now and the hack has been reported to law enforcement agencies.

NiceHash have not apologized to the users affected by the incident yet, they only expressed regret for the "inconvenience caused" and demanded that passwords should be changed. The administration assured the users that the service security system would be revised.
