One of the largest graphic card producers Nvidia asks its European retailers to limit graphic card sales to miners to avoid scarcity in the market and meet the demand of ordinary users, reports TechSpot referring to German department of the company.
The company suggests retailers limit the maximum number of card sales to two per person. This will help to avoid shortage in the market, Nvidia representatives believe.
“For NVIDIA, gamers come first’, Nvidia representative in Germany Boris Bohles announced, “To ensure that GeForce gamers continue to have good GeForce graphics card availability in the current situation, we recommend that our trading partners make the appropriate arrangements to meet gamers’ needs as usual.”, he says.
It should be noted, these announcements by Nvidia representatives are only recommendations from the producer, so there can’t be any regulations by the company. However, some European retail and online shops have already introduced such limitations.
