U.S. consumer prices increased by 2.2% Year-on-Year in February, the monthly rate rose 0.2% according to the U.S. Labour Department press-release.
The U.S. core inflation, apart from food and energy prices, is 0.2% on a monthly basis in February, Year-on-Year, it is 1.8%.
Prices for food in the USA remained unchanged Month-o-Month in February, energy prices increased by 0.1%. Year-on-Year, food prices were 1.4%, energy price rose 7.7%.
The indexes are completely in line with the analysts’ expectations, interviewed by Reuters.
