Cryptocurrencies quotes are moving in different directions on Wednesday. Litecoin price decline, caused by LitePay payment processor shutdown, intensified.
Bitcoin was 0.1%, at 7860.0 USD on Bitfinex, Wednesday.
The second largest cryptocurrency by market cap Ethereum was 3.2% down, at $449.04
Riple was 2.1% up, at $0.57512 on Poloniex.
Litcoin dramatically crashed by 7% at once, to $133.94
Litcoin has been under pressure after its payment processor LitePay announced to cease all the operations the day before.
Besides, the cryptocurrencies fall was affected by the Bank of Korea research, reporting that young people, aged 20-30, are optimistic about cryptocurrencies. This research raises doubts, as for the recent months, South Korea has been conducting tight policy for cryptocurrency trading. In January, the country’s authorities announced their plans to ban cryptocurrency exchange but abandoned the idea later.
